Using PsiWin to load StarTrak on the epoc32 platform
(These instructions were created using PsiWin 2.3.2 for the Psion Series 5 under Microsoft Windows.)
Step 1
This example assumes that you have Symbian's PsiWin software loaded on your PC.
First, download the file St_epocz.exe to your pc from http://www.startrak.co.uk/epoc32/index.htm.
(In the following example, this file has been downloaded to a folder called "StarTrak downloads" on the pc, but the name and location of this folder are not critical).
Step 2
Double-click on the downloaded file (St_epocz.exe) to extract the following files:
OBSDATA
READTHIS.TXT
SAVEDATA
STARDATA
STARTRAK.OPO
Step 3
Connect your Psion (Series 5, Revo, Series 7, etc) to your pc and start PsiWin (double-click the My Psion icon):

In the new window which appears, click on the "Psion1" icon (see above figure). Via PsiWin on your pc, navigate the Psion’s folder structure until you reach the "top level" containing the Documents folder:

With the mouse arrow in this window, right-click the mouse and select New | Folder to create a new folder on the Psion. Call it StarTrak:

On your PC, double-click on the Psion’s StarTrak folder to open it. Open a separate window for the folder which shows the files you downloaded earlier. Select the files which are to be copied to the Psion (left-click once on OBSDATA, then with CTRL key held down, left-click once each on SAVEDATA, STARDATA and STARTRAK.OPO):

Select Edit | Copy:
Step 8
Move to the window displaying the Psion’s folder/file structure. Select Edit | Paste:
This will copy the required files to the Psion:

You can now close PsiWin and start using StarTrak on the Psion. See the StarTrak webpage for further illustrations of this.
